The Wineries

Open year round, all three Westside Wineries are an easy 5- to 15-minute drive from each other, on the western flank of beautiful Keuka Lake, the heart of New York's Finger Lakes region.

Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars
      New York's most award-winning winery won the title of "Winery of the Year" at the New York Wine Classic in 2006. Dr. Frank's was also named the "Greatest Wine Producer" in the Northeast region by Wine Report 2007 for the third consecutive year in a row!
      Founded in 1962 by the pioneer grower of European wine grape varieties in the eastern United States, Dr. Frank's was the first Finger Lakes winery to produce true world-class wines. The winery has produced world-class wines for 45 years and continues its tradition of quality winemaking by using some of the oldest Vinifera vines in the eastern United States.
      Featured regularly in national and international publications such as Wine Spectator and Bon Appetit, Dr. Frank's wine are renowned as some of the finest available from the eastern United States. Heron Hill Winery
      Since 1972 when John and Josephine Ingle first planted grapevines overlooking Canandaigua Lake, through 1977, when they created Heron Hill Winery, they have followed the ebb and flow of the Finger Lakes wine region. Through perseverance and long-term dedication to excellence in winemaking, Heron Hill Winery is now at the forefront of the Finger Lakes Wine industry.
      These are exciting times now in the Finger Lakes as Riesling becomes recognized as our flagship varietal. Heron Hill leads the way by making eight different Rieslings, from a bone dry, terroir-driven Reserve to our ethereal Icewines.
      Our world-renowned Winemaker, Thomas Laszlo, specializes in fine dessert wines, having honed his skills in his native land of Ontario, Canada followed by several years of winemaking in Tokaj, Hungary. The fabled Tokaji Aszú and Esszencia are regarded by connoisseurs to be amongst the world’s best and most rare dessert wines. His expertise spans the wine spectrum from our stainless steel fermented Chardonnay and our best selling Red and White Eclipse, to our “best of show” Rieslings. Hunt Country Vineyards
Celebrating 25 years of fine winemaking, Hunt Country Vineyards first achieved a national reputation as a premier producer of Ice Wine, supplying leading restaurants in New York City, the United Nations and the White House. Our vineyards now encompass 55 acres of high quality cool-climate grapes that we craft into classic vinifera (European) varietals, such as Riesling and Cabernet Franc, as well as several delicious and distinctive wines made from newer grape varieties, such as our Jefferson Cup-winning Vignoles.
Since 2004, our wines have garnered 37 major awards (Gold, Double Gold, Best of Class or Best of Show) in prestigious competitions across the country.
